Carl Aspler has worked as an organization change specialist for over twenty-five years. He has worked as a manager, trainer, manager of executive development, and most recently, as manager, organization effectiveness for GE Canada.While at General Electric, Carl played a key role in the culture change process. He was a major player in helping develop and implement the GE Work-Out concept - a successful empowerment and productivity improvement process. He was also instrumental in helping train the GE “CAP” Model, an important set of tools used in enhancing buy-in to change. Carl has facilitated hundreds of meetings, Work-Outs, strategy sessions and teambuilding events in both the public and private sector.
Since 1995 Carl has managed Carl Aspler & Associates Inc., a firm specializing in organization change, facilitation, teambuilding and training. His clients have included the provincial and federal governments, Maple Leaf Foods, Falconbridge, Bombardier, Tridel, FAG Bearings, Nike Canada, Desjardins Financial, Suncorp-Metway, Falconbridge, Sears-Roebuck, Royal Bank Financial and the various businesses of General Electric.
From 1997 until 2002 Carl was actively involved as a faculty member of GE Capital’s Center for Learning teaching change management as part of GE’s drive towards Six Sigma quality. He has also been part-time faculty at University of Toronto’s Diploma Program in Adult Education as well as the Ivey School of Business. He has also been a consultant with Queen’s University’s Centre for Enterprise Development. Carl is also a certified consultant in Myers-Briggs.
Carl has a B.Sc. from McGill University and an M.Ed. from the University of Toronto.
He is the President of Carl Aspler & Associates Inc.






For more than 25 years, Martha has worked as a counselor, trainer and facilitator specializing in conflict management, performance improvement and career development. With a Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW), Martha's background spans public affairs, organization change and leadership development.
Chris has designed and facilitated programs to facilitate employee alignment with corporate culture,team building, performance management, leadership, interpersonal communication, motivation, creative problem solving, presentation skills, and trainer and facilitator training. He worked with General Electric's work-out facilitation team, and has used similar processes to facilitate team problem-solving for a variety of private, public and not for profit sector clients. He has designed and facilitated interpretation of 360° feedback assessments here and in the United Kingdom.
