A strong component of our practice is providing coaching on how increase personal effectiveness. Whether this includes enhancing specific managerial and interpersonal skills or helping a person focus and develop a stronger set of priorities or habits, we are able to help. Our approach is to work with the individual to identify needs, problem solve through blocks and establish a personal plan. Typical situations where we can be helpful include:
- helping a person develop a greater sense of confidence in challenging situations
- improving interpersonal skills
- uncovering career interests and needs
- developing more productive ways in managing stress
- improving focus and time management
- developing new lifestyle options
The coaching method can vary. These can include a mix of possibilities, including the use of informal meetings, Myers-Briggs Psychological Type, and feedback surveys with colleagues and direct reports.
We also provide one-on-one coaching to project leaders and Six Sigma Black belts on how to improve the level of support for their projects. This coaching can include ways to manage resistance, facilitate their project teams, and improve communication for their projects.
In addition to specific one-on-one coaching, we also offer a Coaching Skills training program to help organizations improve the coaching abilities of its managers and professionals.
